In short
Take Glacy as your free Prismana. You claim it at level 40, and it's the only healer among the 14 on offer. Every Prismana has the same stats as its base form, with a new look and often new elements. The ones in the open world appear during the Prismana Flow, and every Nurture has a 3% chance of starting it on the spot.
- Free PrismanaGlacy, our pick
- Level to claim it40
- StatsSame as the base form
- Flow chance per Nurture3%
Put a Prismana Glacy next to an ordinary Glacy and their stats match point for point, and so do their role and their trait. Their elements don’t. The base Glacy is Water and Ice, while the Prismana is Holy and Water, and it brings a skill of its own, Glimmer Shot, a Holy skill that raises the whole team’s damage when it hits. It looks different, too, and its Homeland Abilities change.
That’s what a Prismana is, a rare form of a species that already exists, alongside its base form and any regional forms. It keeps the numbers and changes the look, and often the elements. One comes free, and you claim it at level 40. We’d take Glacy. Others appear in the open world when a zone’s weather turns to the Prismana Flow, and some come from eggs or week-long events instead.
Is a Prismana Stronger Than Its Base Form?
Not on paper. Every Prismana Form has the same stats, role, and trait as its base form. The elements are another matter. Most Prismana Forms have different elements from their base form, and the new element is often Holy or Dark. Glacy goes from Water and Ice to Holy and Water, for example, and Grizbo from Rock to Dark and Rock.
Other things change as well. The Homeland Abilities are different, often at higher levels than the base form’s, the look is new, and some Prismana Forms bring a skill of their own, as Prismana Glacy does with Glimmer Shot.
Your Free Prismana, and Why We’d Take Glacy
Once you reach the grade of Wayfarer I, the game lets you take one creature in its Prismana Form for free, through an event called the Prismana Pact. Claiming it takes level 40, chapter 3 of the Elite Training, and the trial “Promotion: Stardust’s Blessing.” Until you claim it, you can change your pick. After that, it’s final, but the event doesn’t expire, so there’s no rush.
The 14 on offer are the same Prismana that live in the zones of Breezy Plains, and Glacy is the only one of them in the Heal role. That’s the reason to take it. Your starter is a DPS, and the free pass gives you a Fulmintis, another DPS, so what your team lacks is healing. Prismana Glacy is Holy and Water and heals the whole team, and its Glimmer Shot, for 10 EP, raises the whole team’s damage by 15% for 20 seconds when it hits.
Where Prismana Live
Fourteen Prismana Forms live in the open world, one in each of the 14 zones of Breezy Plains. They’re Cornet at The Argent Strait, Turbo at Nimbus Fields, Stellarys at Forest of Falling Stars, Panpanta at Echoback Landing, Scorchhowl at Beast Fang Ridge, Hexxin at The Mistwoods, Blazen at Blitzwood, Luminelle at Tideblossom Coast, Thornblade at Sea of Flowers, Glacy at Driftwise Meadow, Ignitis at Berylline Causeway, Pawney at Russet Highlands, Magmarex at Zephyrus Landbridge, and Grizbo at Rosetower Woods.
Each of them appears during its zone’s Prismana Flow, a change in the weather that draws Prismana in. So getting one from the wild comes down to starting the Flow in the right zone.
How to Start the Prismana Flow
The Flow comes from Nurture, the care you give a zone’s ecosystem at its Blooms. To Nurture in a zone, you first need its Bronze Collection Badge, which you earn by catching different species there. Each Nurture uses a free charge, which refills over time, or Vein Essence.
Every Nurture calls in a Wild Surge of Aniimo and adds a fixed amount of Prismatic Energy, and it has a 3% chance of starting the Flow on the spot. Three percent is a long shot on any single Nurture, so the energy is what you can count on. It builds up zone by zone, because energy earned in one zone counts only there, and at 10,500 the Flow is guaranteed.
Catching helps too. A catch can set off a Lucky Strike, which gives you items, raises the zone’s Prismatic Energy, and can start the Flow by itself. If a Lucky Strike maxes out the zone’s energy, the zone’s Prismana can show up again right away.
Further along, you can call the Flow yourself. Once your Branch reaches Prismana Radiance, the stage at 60 Lumin Amber, and you hold a zone’s silver badge, you can change that zone’s weather from the Branch, and a Prismana Crystal starts the Flow at once. Keep any Prismana Crystals you get for that. Our Lumin Amber page covers the Branch and its stages.
Prismana Without a Zone
The other Prismana Forms have no zone of their own, and they come by other routes. Somniwing exists only as a Prismana, and the Elite Training gives it to you at 180 points.
Several come from eggs. Your Homeland gives you a Mysterious Prismana Egg at levels 15 and 18. Prismana Iris hatches from an egg, and so does Prismana Fulmintis, from one in the season pass, the Companion Handbook. Operation: Egg Heist also has a Chaos mode, which opens at Tier IV, Elite Egg Seeker, and takes a Chaos Ticket. Prismana eggs turn up there much more often.
Vein Abundance events bring one particular Prismana Form to one zone for a week. From September 28 at 4:00 a.m. to October 5 at 3:59 a.m., it’s Melloblum at Rosetower Woods, and from October 5 at 4:00 a.m. to October 12 at 3:59 a.m., it’s Waleetle at Berylline. The times are server time, which for Europe is UTC. The week before Melloblum, the event brought Glynsera to Beast Fang Ridge.
Sparkling Cubes and the Prismana Orb
A Sparkling Cube used on a Prismana always catches it, and the catch comes out Perfect and Sparkling. Our page on Potential explains what Perfect means. From version 1.1, a Sparkling Prismana will be able to switch freely among the Sparkling colors you’ve unlocked, the Prismana’s original color included. As of October 3, 2026, version 1.1 isn’t out yet.
The Prismana Orb works on an Aniimo you already have. It turns that Aniimo into its Prismana Form, as long as you’ve unlocked that form, and the Aniimo keeps its acquired Potential, its mutations, and its personality. To use it, open the Aniimo’s info tab and press Change Form. The Orb sits in the season tab of the Stamp Shop at 900 Windborn Stamps, and you can buy it only after you’ve spent 7,000 Windborn Stamps. Since the Aniimo keeps the Potential you’ve added, save the Orb for the one you’ve invested in most.
