How to Get Irisalis

GrassDPSLegendary

Updated 10/03/2026

Version 1.0.3629693

In short

Irisalis, the first legendary Aniimo, takes 99 Irisalis Petals. Craft the Legendary Aniipod: Irisalis in the Legendary Journey event, beat Irisalis in a Vein Rift at Sea of Flowers before time runs out, then choose Soothe and hold Become Allies. You can catch it only once, and the event ends on December 9, 2026.

Irisalis lives inside a Vein Rift at Sea of Flowers, and the Rift stays closed until you’ve built the right Aniipod. That Aniipod, the Legendary Aniipod: Irisalis, takes 99 Irisalis Petals. Craft it, and the game sends you in to fight Irisalis on a timer and then win it over.

Irisalis is the first legendary Aniimo in the game, a Grass creature in the DPS role, and you can catch it only once. Most of the work is collecting the petals before the event that brings Irisalis closes, on December 9, 2026. But the petals keep their value after the catch, because Irisalis’s own item and a second Legendary Aniipod cost more of them.

When the Event Ends

The event, Legendary Journey: Windchaser’s Departure, opens once you reach the grade of Student I, and it ends at the same moment on every server. On the Europe server, that’s 11:59 p.m. UTC on December 9, 2026. On the Americas server the event closes at 7:59 p.m. UTC-4 the same day, and on the Asia-Pacific server at 7:59 a.m. UTC+8 on December 10. Plan to have the petals, the Aniipod, and the fight done before then.

Where the 99 Petals Come From

Most of the ways to earn petals pay out only once, and plenty of them turn up as you play. Story missions and Journey missions give petals, and so does your first win against each Alpha. Eight fixed gathering spots in Breezy Plains have petals to pick up. The Elite Pathfinder Challenge pays out in petals, and so does each zone’s Silver Collection Badge. Catching Prismana Aniimo earns more, and you claim those rewards in the Aniilog, under Aniimo Topics. The Branch Nurture milestones add some, and one of them alone gives three. The Tracing the Trail event, which runs from September 20 to December 9, 2026, gives petals too.

Two weekly purchases add to that. The Stamp Shop sells four petals a week, at 50 Windborn Stamps each. A Breezy Mission Letter costs 428 Glimmer and gives an Irisalis Flower, which is worth five petals, and you can buy only a limited number of letters each week. At four a week, the Stamp Shop can’t get you to 99 on its own before the event ends, which is why the one-time rewards come first.

Buy the Stamp Shop’s four petals every week, since they cost no Glimmer, and leave the letters for last. We’d rather keep Glimmer for Sparkling Crystals and Capafruit, so buy letters only when you’re a few petals short of 99.

Should You Wait for Version 1.1?

No. Right now, Irisalis’s innate Potential is random. From version 1.1, it will be fixed at 10 in ATK and REGEN and 5 in HP, BREAK, M.DEF, and P.DEF, and anything above those values will be converted into Starcryst Essence. So an Irisalis you catch before the update ends up with the same values as one caught after it, plus Essence for whatever it rolled above them. As of October 3, 2026, version 1.1 isn’t out. Catch Irisalis whenever you’re ready, as long as it’s before the event ends.

Crafting the Aniipod

Once you have 99 petals, open the events menu, pick Legendary Journey, go to the Walking with Irisalis tab, and press Craft. Crafting the Aniipod opens a story of Irisalis’s own and puts the encounter on your map, and the game then leads you to a Vein Rift at Sea of Flowers. Inside, you face Irisalis: Rampage.

How to Beat Irisalis: Rampage

The fight has a time limit, so you need damage as much as you need to stay alive. Fire, Wind, and Dark work well against Irisalis. We’d bring Scorchhowl for Fire, Cornet for Wind, and Stellarys for Dark, and all three sit in A tier on our tier list. Go in with a full team, and make sure one of its members is a healer or a support. When Irisalis is beaten, walk to the center, choose Soothe, and hold down Become Allies.

What More Petals Buy

The petals don’t stop mattering at 99. Irisalis’s exclusive item, the Floral Rainbow Feather, costs 30 more, nearly a third of what the Aniipod took. Its base effect makes the clones Irisalis summons deal 30% more damage. In our view, Irisalis is at its best only with the feather, so count those 30 petals as part of the price.

During the season, more petals also build a second Legendary Aniipod, Departure with the Wind, once you’ve made the first. It guarantees the catch, Perfect innate Potential, and the Sparkling form, and it brings perks exclusive to this season. That’s one more reason to keep collecting after the 99.

Once Irisalis Is Yours

Befriending Irisalis opens its exclusive transmog, which changes how it looks, and since September 30 the transmog has five presets instead of three. For battle, we’d put Irisalis with Turbo, Leafy, and Somniwing. That lineup works even without a BREAK creature.
