Echoback Landing

The zone

The huge skeleton of an Echoback, a whale-like creature, lies on one of the beaches of Echoback Landing. The zone takes the northwest corner of the map, above Forest of Falling Stars and Beast Fang Ridge, with beaches, islands, the Rushing Rapids Sanctum, and an RV Park. Shelly, Sheldon, Sherro, Susuta, Popota, and Panpanta live only here, and Sherro's Thunderstorm Form is the only Sherro you can catch in the open world.

What to do here

The Alpha Panpanta waits on the shore north of the Echoback Landing Bloom and drops Wave Stone, which Sheldon needs to evolve into Sherro. The Aged Omega Sherro is here too, and so is the Young Omega Sherro, on an island northwest of the Beachside Sandbars Bloom, and like every Omega, neither can be caught. “Everlasting Echoback Song,” part of the zone's story, starts with the perfumer Elvira in Bloomville and asks you to light the Echonite in the whale's bones, which activate only at night.
