Beast Fang Ridge

The zone

In the middle of Beast Fang Ridge stands the Withered Forest, a stretch of dead trees where Emberpup and Flameruff roam. The zone lies in the northwest, between Echoback Landing and Mistwoods, and its western side, home to Bonesky and Fenrier, has ice caverns and a large crater. The crater holds the Frigid Waters Sanctum, and the zone's other Sanctum is Rising Flames. Scorchhowl is found nowhere else, and with three Alphas, no zone has more.

What to do here

The Alpha Scorchhowl stands among three stone monoliths east of the Frigid Waters Sanctum, and Glynsera, the second Alpha, waits south of the Sanctum in an ice cave whose entrance is sealed by ice you can melt with Fire. The third, Minespine, is in a cave south of the Forgotten Mine that opens once you've infused 120 Lumin Amber into the Breezy Plains Branch, and you'll need a digging Aniimo such as Budclaw or Pebbling to reach it. To evolve Flameruff into Inferlupa, finish the Warrior mission, which makes the evolution possible, and hunt the elite Flameruff in the clearing of dead trees by day for Unbroken Flameruff Spirits.
