In short

An Alpha Fulmintis can't be caught, traded, or earned as a reward. You make one by evolving an Alpha Wisptis in its Basic Form at level 29, using the Soul of Electric Shock from the paid pass.

Bring three, and you're covered either way. We'll count what the evolution screen asks for in our own game and update this page.

You can’t catch an Alpha Fulmintis, and nobody can give you one. Every player who reports owning one made it the same way, by evolving an Alpha Wisptis in its Basic Form at level 29 with the Soul of Electric Shock.

That leaves two things to get and one decision you can’t take back. The soul comes only with the paid pass. The Wisptis has to be an Alpha already, and since none live in the wild, every known route to one goes through an egg that won’t show the species until it hatches. The decision comes at the end. A Wisptis evolves into either Fulmintis or Ignitis, and you get one choice. Only a Wisptis in its Basic Form can take the Fulmintis branch.

Where Does an Alpha Fulmintis Spawn?

Nowhere. Three sources list the Alphas you can meet in the open world, 17 in all, and neither Fulmintis nor Wisptis is among them. The official wiki doesn’t give Fulmintis a habitat at all. No reward hands you one ready-made, and Alphas can’t be traded, so a friend can’t send you one either. One guide says eggs can’t be traded, too, though we haven’t seen that anywhere else.

The pass does include a free Fulmintis: the Incredible Fulmintis Egg, at level 10 of the free track, which hatches with Elite potential or better. Nobody has reported one hatching as an Alpha. That doesn’t prove it can’t happen, but it isn’t something to plan around.

The Route, Step by Step

The route has four steps. The first depends on luck, and the last can’t be undone.

  1. Get an Alpha Wisptis in its Basic Form, which in practice means hatching one.
  2. Raise it to level 29.
  3. Collect the Soul of Electric Shock, at level 10 of the Companion Handbook (Advanced Edition), and the Roar Stones, from the Alpha Blazen at Blitzwood.
  4. Evolve it and choose Fulmintis. Wisptis has two branches, Fulmintis and Ignitis, and the choice is final.

The soul is the part you pay for. Your inventory calls it Soul of Electric Shock and the evolution screen asks for a Fulminous Soul, but it’s the same item. It comes at level 10 of the paid pass for season 1. As of September 30, 2026, there’s no free way to get it, whether as a drop, in a shop, as an Alpha reward, or from an event, and we found no word from the developers about adding one. Once you have it, though, it stays in your inventory for good and works on more than one Wisptis.

Sources split on how many Roar Stones the evolution takes, one or three, and the game data says one. Get three, so the count won’t matter. They come from the Alpha Blazen at Blitzwood, which sits on top of a mountain south of the Blitzwood Bloom.

The Alpha carries through the evolution. Several players have reported it independently, with Wisptis and with other creatures. It also survives the optional last step, the Prismana Orb from the stamp shop, which takes a creature to its Prismana Form. The game’s own text says the mutations stay, and one player reported an Alpha Prismana Sherro made that way.

Where to Get an Alpha Wisptis

Two kinds of egg have produced an Alpha Wisptis. Wonder Eggs have done it at least twice, an Alpha Egg once by one player’s account, and a third lead is still untested. Whatever the egg, it hatches in a Hatchinator, at an Outpost or at home.

Wonder Eggs

A Wonder Egg guarantees a mutation, not the species. The game’s text promises at least one of two mutations, Alpha or Sparkling, while the species is random and the shell doesn’t show it. Two players, reporting separately on September 20 and 29, each hatched an Alpha Wisptis from one, so it can happen. How often? Nobody has published the odds. The only count so far, a community tally we’ve seen in one place, has 20 of 24 Wonder Eggs hatching as Alphas. That measures the mutation, though, and says nothing about how many of those 20 were Wisptis.

You earn Wonder Eggs as you progress through the Nurture Branch, and from the Holo-Battle Interlink. The Interlink opens at the Trailblazer I rank and runs in weekly cycles, from 4:00 a.m. Thursday to 3:59 a.m. Monday, according to the official Steam announcement of September 21. One of its weekly rewards is a Wonder Egg. One guide also lists the mission “A Grand Feast” and some chests; no other source we found does.

Alpha Eggs

Alpha Eggs sit in fixed spots, one per region, and each hatches a creature native to its region with the Alpha mutation. The game’s text and two guides agree on that. Look high up, on rocks, trees, and pillars. Which creature comes out isn’t shown in advance, and nobody has published a table. Sources don’t even agree on how many eggs there are, whether 14, 15, or 16, and one player reports that they don’t come back once taken. If that holds, each egg is a single try.

For a Wisptis, the eggs worth opening are those in the regions where Wisptis lives. The official wiki lists Berylline Causeway for the Basic Form, Zephyrus Landbridge and Blitzwood for the Highland Form, and The Mistwoods for the Forest Form. One player reported hatching a Wisptis from an Alpha Egg without saying where. Which species and forms these eggs actually give is one of the things we still have to test.

The Combative Wisptis, Still Untested

This lead rests on a single guide. The game’s text describes an Alpha Egg “found in Berylline Vale,” while the game data places that egg in a chest at Zephyrus Landbridge. Separately, one guide says you can win an Alpha Egg at Zephyrus Landbridge, at coordinates 0341, 1553, by challenging the Combative Wisptis. Tying the two together is a guess, and one player who went looking on September 29 didn’t find it. We haven’t been there yet.

If It Hatches in the Wrong Form

Fix the form before you evolve, because a Wisptis in Forest or Highland Form can only become an Ignitis. Three sources agree on that. The Morph Orb switches a creature to another form you’ve already obtained, though never to Prismana, so you need to have obtained a Basic Form Wisptis first, and the official wiki puts those at Berylline Causeway. An Orb costs 300 Glimmer, with a limit of 10 a week. Whether the Alpha survives the switch is still open. One player says it did. That’s the only report, and we haven’t tried it ourselves.

What the Alpha Changes

An Alpha’s edge is its core skill. For Fulmintis that’s Lightning Blade Storm, and an Alpha gets the boosted version without the held-item contract that other creatures need for it. One guide and several players describe this. Players also report that since a silent fix around September 23, the boost applies to Alphas hatched from eggs as well, although no official note mentions the fix. That matters here, because every known route to an Alpha Wisptis starts with an egg.

The stats don’t change. One guide gives exact figures for the skill boost, but it’s the only source for them, so we’re leaving them out until a second one turns up.

Leads That Go Nowhere

Three other leads get passed around, and none of them ends in an Alpha Fulmintis. The first is a line in some creature databases saying a Fulmintis appears during the Prismana Flow in Berylline Vale. The same line sits on the Ignitis page, and what three sources report seeing in that Flow is a Prismana Ignitis. Our reading is that the line is about the Prismana Form, not the Alpha, and nobody has reported a Fulmintis in the Flow.

The second is the camper. A Fulmintis you send on a camper trip brings back Fulmintis eggs, but whether an Alpha parent passes the Alpha on to them isn’t documented. Three separate searches turned up nothing either way.

The third is an event. The Chinese version’s research event on Fulmintis at Blitzwood, 伊莫大发现 (“Great Aniimo Discovery,” in our translation), isn’t part of the global version, where the current research event is about Dazmand. No source mentions Alphas in connection with it.

Is There a Secret Mission?

None of the sources we went through describes one. There’s no location, no list of steps, and no reward on record, only the rumor.

The closest thing is a hidden interaction that one player reported. A Wisptis seems to be waiting for a Fulmintis and suggests you twine with one. Nobody has said what that gives you, and we haven’t tried it. Our guess is that the secret-mission talk started there.

What We Haven’t Tested Yet

Five questions are still open, and each one needs someone in the game rather than another source. We’ll count the Roar Stones on the evolution screen, look for the Combative Wisptis at Zephyrus Landbridge and see what it gives, and open the Alpha Eggs in the Wisptis regions to find out which species and forms come out. We’ll also try a Morph Orb on an Alpha, and twine with a Fulmintis in front of the Wisptis that seems to be waiting for one.

Until then, the four steps above are the only route anyone has reported finishing.
